Jacaras is a genre of musical satire within the Spanish "Golden Age" (Siglo de Oro): Small compositions that were presented during the breaks between the acts in the theaters in Spain.
The Siglo de Oro was in Spain a time of high flowering of art and culture during the transition from the Renaissance to the Baroque.

 

Duo Jacaras

We, the duo Jacaras, want to connect with our music to this golden age of "Entr'acte Music", but not limited to Renaissance or Baroque. We make timeless music of all times! Beautiful music on flutes and string instruments that suits everything, be it listening, dreaming, singing or dancing. On all occasions, small or large celebrations, art exhibitions, or in churches - Escapades of strings and flutes!

Duo Jacaras are: Judith Biegner (playing all kinds of flutes and piano) and Peter Günther (playing all kinds of guitars and similar stringed instruments and accordion) from Germany.
